How to Present Your Case at an ARB Hearing:

Request for Electronic Delivery of Communications – Tax Code Section 1.085(a-1) requires a tax official to deliver communications to a property owner or the property owner’s designated representative electronically if requested using this form. The election remains in effect until rescinded, in writing, by the property owner or the designated representative.

* Homestead Exemption Applications must include a copy of each property owner’s driver’s license or state-issued personal identification certificate. The address listed on the driver’s license or state-issued personal identification certificate must correspond to the property address for which the exemption is requested. Applicant may also be required to complete an affidavit to qualify for an exemption under certain situations.
